Othello's Italian Restaurant and Bar, a family-owned hot-spot on OU's Campus Corner, has established itself as one of the best eateries and watering holes in Oklahoma for over 35 years. It has also served as Norman's premier destination to hear top-notch musicians in an intimate, laid-back, acoustic setting. Beginning in 2009, JFR Productions took over booking and promoting live music for Othello's with hopes of bringing the spotlight back to such a hidden treasure. We are proud to re-introduce some of the past talent that Othello's has hosted, as well as offering some fresh singer-songwriters, jazz players, pop and folk to the menu. We are booking acoustic acts every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (and occasional extra nights) showcasing Oklahoma's finest performers as well as select touring artists. There is never a cover and all ages are welcome. Kitchen stays open until 10pm weeknights and until 11pm weekends. Don't forget every Thursday, Othello's and the South 77 Band host an open mic at 9pm, and Tuesday nights are open Comedy nights at 10pm.
