About I Have Read Other Books Besides Catcher In The Rye

Bright colors, cars melting, flowers blooming, words forgotten. That slight rattle one’s carburetor makes shortly before the meltdown.
We change out some of the live practice recordings at least once a week, as we better learn the songs or as we improve our conversation skills.

I Have Read Other Books Besides The Catcher in the Rye is the self-proclaimed indie-folk rock version of hip-hop’s Outkast. The group is comprised of two members, D. Padgett and J. Thompson. Although these gentlemen have played together in bands and worked on albums together in the past, when it comes to Other Books these two have yet to appear on the same record.

Currently the group has released 6 records. D. Padgett has released Catcher Vol. 1 - Violent Art, Catcher Vol. 3 - .his chaos., and Catcher Vol. 5 – Love Songs From the Future. J. Thompson has released Catcher Vol. 2 – ila, The Florida Player, and The Decider. Both members are currently working on albums independently of one another; there are currently no plans of collaboration on these future releases.
