Otherwise est un jeune groupe prometteur originaire de Bruxelles. Ils ont déjà, lors de leurs prestations scéniques, côtoyé des artistes tels qu'Avril Lavigne, Yel, ou encore Marie Warnant. A ce jour, le groupe a enregistré une démo et un LP, à savoir « 10 Hours », au Rising Sun studio par Olivier Gérard (Hooverphonic, Maurane, etc.). Dix heures, c'est le temps qu'il a fallu au groupe pour l'enregistrement de cet LP. Avec à peine une moyenne d'âge de vingt ans, le groupe a encore bien de l'avenir devant lui.
They are four young talented pop-rock artists with influences ranging from Alanis Morrisette to our country's indie rock artists (Mud Flow, Ghinzu, K's Choise). Their "coup de coeur" performance at the Emergenza finals in June 2007 landed them the opening slot for AVRIL LAVIGNE. "Otherwise" come up with catchy melodies and lyrics. Otherwise has just released their LP "Ten Hours"!! Why the title "Ten Hours"? Ten hours is the exact time it took them to record the nine tracks, they were initially set to take a few songs and then, at the spur of a crazy moment, they decided to rise to the challenge of cutting all nine songs in one studio session. This indie-rock group takes pleasure in playing for all audiences, all they wanna do is Rock and have fun Rollin' too!
Otherwise is een jonge beloftevolle groep uit Brussel. Ze hebben het podium al gedeeld met artiesten zoals Avril Lavigne, Yel, of nog Marie Warnant. Tot nu toe heeft de groep een demo opgenomen en een LP, genaamd "10 Hours", in de Rising Studio met Olivier Gérard (Hooverphonic, Maurane, enz.). Tien uur, dat is de tijd die de groep nodig had om de LP op te nemen. Met een gemiddelde leeftijd van amper 20 jaar heeft deze groep nog een mooie toekomst voor zich.
10ème festival LES SELENITES > 26-27 JUIN 2009 10 ans, ça se fête !!! Les Sélénites, ce sont les petits habitants de la Lune, mais c’est aussi un collectif fait de plusieurs associations culturelles de l'Essonne qui unissent leurs idées, leurs énergies et leurs savoirs-faire pour la réalisation d'un festival commun.
Les 26 et 27 juin 2009, année d'la teuf, les Sélénites fêteront leurs 10 bougies !!!
Musique, danse, arts de rue, cirque, théâtre et décos lunaires feront escale à la base de loisirs d'Etampes, comme d'habitude le dernier week-end de juin, et comme d'habitude ce sera GRATUIT !!!
