Formed originally in Seattle in 2004, Otisburg owes much of their sound to influences ranging from The Descendents to Weezer to Smoking Popes to Face to Face. .... Their musical style is characterized by humorous or ironic lyrics, deadpan vocal delivery and heavy, 3-chord acoustically-treated power-chord laden and sometimes interweaving guitar riffs reminiscent of punk. Yet unlike punk, they branch out musically at times and allow for songs with slower tempos.
