I've been out of the playing scene for about quite a few years. My wife got me a new guitar and I got a little interest again. Hopefully I'll remember how to play. I love the blues, I could just never make a living at it. This is my first blues album project. I'll be working with a favorite drummer and hope it will be completed by spring '09.
These are scratchs tracks used to get the drums on and test some mic placements. Please don't laugh at the playing. The playing will hopefully get better. I used my 60th Anniversary Telecaster with Budz pickups newly installed and ran direct of of a Roland Micro Cube for some. Others are my Boogie with a Heil PR30 up close and my Red Type B at about 6 feet back. Everything is going thorugh a Great River ME-1NV preamp.

I haven't been by in a while so I've been missin some of your newer stuff. All I can say is SWEET!!! .. nah I can say more .. :) .. sounding good man. I've got a little R&B happenin on my band site (not to be confused with the TAB site). You may have heard it before but check it out sometime. There's a link to the site from my friends list. It was all recorded on a Korg D3200... I called it Green Blues but you'll figure it out. Hope to jam with you again sometime soon.
By the way,..when I play for ME, I play guitar instead of bass, and just work with a few jam bands around here. About to start something of my own if I can find musicians as good as the ones we've BOTH played with in Oklahoma. HA!
I have a Crate A-line 50 all tube with two 12's, all white color, and play a Fender Mexican Strat as well as a cheap little screamin' bitch of a Epiphone/(Gibson) black single pickup Les Paul SPecial copy.
Love to jam with you if you ever get down here, or when I come up to help record some of our third album in Nashville.
I got to hear you live a while back @ the rock which was very cool but now I can hear you any time I want. :) Since I'm playing a lot more guitar now I'll try to sit down with my Korg D3200 and do some stuff too. Have a great weekend.
