Thank you everyone that came out this year to see a great movie and support human rights all over the globe.

We know we have made over $1.000,00 again this year - the total will be posted here as soon as the cheque is received by Equality Now headquarters.

Thank you all the volunteers on the day of the show - we can't do it without you and double thank you to Spice and Rob our fearless local heroes who made this happen for the 3rd year in a row.

Hope to see you all again next year (or before if you can make one of the shindigs)

The Ottawa Browncoats are the local chapter of the Canadian Browncoats. Browncoats are fans of Joss Whedon's short lived TV show "Firefly" and the movie that followed it "Serenity". Inspiring Universal studios to make a movie based on a show that was canceled after only half a season, Browncoats around the globe know that if they work together they can accomplish the impossible. And so, every year, we get together and try to change the world.


We, Ottawa, raised $1230 in 2008 and $1090.13 in 2007, all for Equality Now!
