You may have noticed I don't update anymore. Usual time and money reasons. Otter pop radio may remain on live365 forever, I don't think they delete inactive stations. I just won't be updating it. Perhaps I'll start it up again down the road, maybe after I finish taking the CPA exam later this year. Maybe.
otter pop radio is an internet radio station (on live365) where you will hear lots of new indie and indiepop, shoegaze, and a bit of new wave and 80s / early 90s alternative (absolutely no grunge). Anything and everything that is catchy and fun, not awful and gross.
I do check out all the artists that ask to friend me, although sometimes I get very backed up. So I will listen eventually.
I won't fill your comments section with stupid images or blanket announcements. I'm only interested in having people check out otter pop radio and hear some good pop music. Having a few listeners is the only way to justify the expense of live365.
All artists currently in the otter pop radio playlist are listed below with a link to a myspace page (if possible) when you can hear more. Otherwise I'll link to info wherever I can find it. There are close to 600 songs (about 35 hours of music) in the current playlist, with songs coming and going fairly regularly.
Hello. Please do delete this comment if you so wish.
We're just making sure that everyone knows that our debut album 'Horses For Courses' is available to buy from our little record label's online shop:
http://www.donttellclare.co.uk/shop.htm
Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.
International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.
Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.
