The band was formed in summer 2004 as a duet and up to now it remains a duo of a keyboarder and composer Slip and a singer Draw.
The first performance took place in the city of Khabarovsk (the Far East of Russian Federation) on 28th of November.
In summer 2006 the band moved to St. Petersburg.
To the present moment "Otto Dix" has albums:

• "Ego" (released in 2005, re-mastered and re-released in 2007)
• "City" (released in 2006).
• "Nuclear Winter" (released in 2007)
• "Starost" (special release for Germany, released in 2008 at Danse Macabre Records)
• "Zone of Shadows" (released in 2009)
