高校生の頃に事務所に送った自らの宅録デモテープがきっかけとなり、紆余曲折を経て2005年8月24日、20歳の時にミニアルバム「扇愛奈入ります。」でロック系シンガーソングライターとしてメジャーデビュー。

個性が強く、力強いボーカルと、日本の歌謡曲の要素を色濃く取り入れたひねくれたソングライティングを武器に音楽界に挑戦状を叩きつける。

2006年1月1日リリースの１stシングル「輪廻」は映画「輪廻」--清水崇監督作品--の主題歌として書き下ろした曲。
同年2月1日2ndシングル「レトルト」をリリース。
同年3月1日1stフルアルバム「ニッポンの150ｃｍ」をリリース。
同年9月21日3rdシングル「レベルアップ」をリリース。

2007年6月20日ミニアルバム「海鳴りライダー」をリリース。
2009年6月24日、２年ぶりのアルバム「ハッキン・チューニン」をリリース。
