Another group of Veterans having just recently begining to gain recognition are our Native American soldiers. From the Code Talkers of WW-II to present day. There was and is still an incredible amount of history and heritage of Native American worriors and hero's having served in the armed forces. We as a nation owe a great deal more to these individuals than we are presently showing. If it were not for the code talkers of the Navajo, America as we know it would not even exist. Lets all remember the great contributions from our Native Peoples.

Lori, Thank You for your service to country, thank you for being a true patriot. May you now rest and may Grandfather watch over your spirit and guide your journey home. Rest in Peace American Hero!
Not enough can be said about the many contributions made by women during these times and throughout our history.
They have been, mothers, medical personnel, paper pushers for the cause, even civilian volunteers, and most recently fighting on the front lines with our countries best. Women's roles and recognition during our history has been slighted, and justly deserves the recognition in todays society. They gave as much, sacrificed their lives to save others, and continue to make their presence known in today's war torn areas throughout the world.
As a former corpsman/combat medic, I can say we do what we were trained to do on the battlefields to preserve lives of wounded soldiers, and sailors, and civilians. It was, and still is, the many thousands of women personnel that dealt with the long aftermaths of any given encounter on the battlefield, be it in a medical capacity, or as a grieving relative.
Our American women are strong, committed, and served honorably, and have earned the Respect and Pride of the American people, and should justly be treated as an American Hero.
Let us not forget their commitments, service, and most of all - their
memories.

"YOUR FREEDOM IS NOT FREE" You have to see this. It speaks volumes as to the typical treatment our Veterans, Especially the Vietnam Veterans where subjected to upon return to American soils. The message is clear folks..
I have put this page together as a form of tribute to all past, present and future service men and women. My Brothers and Sisters in arms. May your deeds and honor never be questioned, and may your memories forever prevail in the hearts and minds of the masses. For many of us, the watch is complete, but for many yet still to come, you have some mighty boots to fill...many wishes, God's speed, and forever faithful, and loyal to your honor and missions...Semper Fi...Hooah!!!

If we as a nation do not remember the sacrifices and lives paid during all our conflicts, then we do an injustice to all those that serve.
It matters not if they served on the front lines of a battle field, worked in a supply depot, or sat behind a desk. The fact remains that they were and are, willing and ready to fight for our freedoms, beliefs, and honor as a nation, and to lay down their lives if need be.
Over the course of our history, we have lost many, WW.I, WW.II, Korea, Vietnam, Beirut, now Iran, Iraq, and countless other embassies and locals throughout the world. These soldiers, sailors, and airmen, deserve the utmost respect from this nation. There are still many among the missing, classified as POW, MIA, KIA and (BNR).
We as a nation are justified in demanding the return of our service men and women, and need to continue putting the pressures on the US Gov't. to see that they are returned to their families and their homeland.
As an individual, I bear very little weight in any political arena, but as a unified peoples, our government will respond to the cry's of its grieving population. Please contact your local officials, the president, anyone...to get the word out that America's people are angry, and want our sons, fathers, sisters, mothers, and grandparents brought home.
As a member of the armed services, imagine the thoughts these individuals had / have, knowing their government abandoned them, left them for dead, on foriegn soils.
"No man left Behind"
That was to be the battle creed, what it turned out to be, was a slap in the face by our government.
Imagine now, what of the newer generation, are they going to be willing to put their lives on the line for a government that treats their predicesors in this manner. Will they take the risk that they too, may be left behind, and forgotten.
Its time America, we need to " Bring em Home "
We as a Nation have a promise to keep: a promise to never forget our fallen patriots, service men and women, our Hero's.
They fought for us, Now we must fight for them !
