About me:
Our Queer Family is a group that was started to bring together the Queer community under the flag of family. We may not agree completely with each other on everything, we may not get along beautifully, but we are queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, gender queer, undefinable. We are willing to stand up and defend ourselves and our siblings. This isn't about dating or rating, it's about our queer children, it's about our future, it's about US.
This world is telling us that we are unworthy, that we are sinful, that we are sub-human. We need to come together and show them how strong our family is. It's a huge task full of obstacles, but if we do not take it on we are no better then what they are telling us we are. It is human nature to want what we deserve, to want to become something, and right now we need to become human in the eyes of our world.
