Best Enemy was formed in August 2006 by the ex-members of The Youngsters punk/hardcore band. A few months later the band has recorder DIY Demo which was followed by a series of gigs, and the punk's admiration. In Summer 2007 Dima - the drummer abandoned the band by reason of troubles with getting a higher medical education.
New drummer Kirill (also known as an ex-drummer of Invisible Border and currently Noggie Winnie-Puha) joined the band. At at-one-year-period the Best Enemy did gigs in every town they were asked to play to. The band shared the stage with such bands as : Mass Murder, What We Feel, Mister X(Bel), Engage At Will, Turbo Lax, Give..Em The Gun, Zapoy, Ruki Na Odeyalo, Invisible Border, Fallen Angels Crew, Nogi Winnie-Pooha,Trick Shots, Bettie Ford (while their Russian Tour). The Best Enemy also rocked-on and survived in the first international Punk/Hardcore/Ska fest - Music of the Streets fest with Spitfire (Rus), Blisterhead (Swe) and Rejected (Fin) as headliners, which took part in St.Peresburg.
At the turn of the 2007, the 7 studio tracks were recorded for the split record with St.Petersburg punx Mass Murder, which is relesed on February 2008 by Spacerebell Rec. and Karma Mira rec. cooperately. The song by Rancid was covered and recorded by the Best Enemy for the Russian Rancid-Tribute, and it's also available on the w/Mass Murder split record.
In the 2008 Best Enemy played many shows, include Bettie Ford with their second russian tour, South Punk Fest in Ukraine (/w Distemper, More&Relsy, Maypole (pl)) and first big punk/hardcore fest Courage 2008. During the summer we changed drummer - Misha instead of Kirill, who cannt combine our tours with Purgen's tours. Now We recording our second release - split with our friends Nogie Winnie-Pooha.
In june 2009 we realesed our 2nd split with Nogie Winnie Pooha and went to russian rour. Unfortunatly we need to part with our friend Pechkin, who just married). And we wish him good luck and to be best husbunt and father. Now we write new material for our first longplay, which we hope realese in next year!
Best Enemy is a hot mix of middle-tempo punkrock and tremendous on-stage action.
