Now... about Our Black Friday
Those who are familiar with the personalities in this band understand one thing... we are musicians and songwriters who are determined to take our music to the masses.
Every so often a band comes along and is fortunate to possess the necessary components to make it all work. A "band of brothers" so to speak - a group of people who share common goals between themselves for a greater good. They are willing to compromise and sacrifice more than most in order to achieve those goals. Combine that with some amazing musicians and a soulful vocalist who has his own identity and you are almost there. Then comes the most important part... making music that will be noticed by fans, recognized by peers and remembered by many. Our Black Friday believes with every conviction that this formula exists within this band.
OBF is a "no-frills" hard rock sound with constant melodic feel. That theme has been the genesis in building a unique catalog of songs that differ greatly from track to track. The only thing we prefer more than making the music itself... is performing it LIVE! The energy we put out on stage is only compounded by the energy thrown right back at us from the crowds - it's pure melodic mayhem!
Simply put, the music is all about BIG guitars, tasty leads, an in-the-pocket rhythm section, combined with memorable melodies, hooks & lyrics. As always, you be the judge... but we thank all the friends and fans who have been there since the beginning and those who have gotten on board since.
