Our Lunar Activities was formed by Charles Clark (vox/guitar) in 2005, with Kevin Clark (drums), Derek Healey (guitar) and James Reeves (vox/bass). All four members hail from and currently reside on the small island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
After releasing "She Cried/Diamond," a 7" vinyl only single produced by Mogwai's Barry Burns on the independent record label Hatch, the band went on to play with the likes of Snow Patrol, The Wedding Present, Shiny Toy Guns and The Buzzcocks.
Following a string of festival performances in the United Kingdom OLA went back in the studio to record "It Comes In Waves". This recording soon caught the attention of Blink 182 frontman Mark Hoppus who asked the band to play support dates for the European leg of his +44 project, after which Hoppus invited OLA to record and produce their debut album in his Los Angeles studio. Finally In October 2008 the self titled debut’s recordings were completed with the engineering aid of Christopher Holmes (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
2009 sees Our Lunar Activities embark on a worldwide tour with a release scheduled for Fall 2009.
GUYZ you are fantastic. When I read the HISTORY before the concert I saw you were isolated on an Island to be inspired or something like that. I think your music is really fantastic. You have great ideas and are very inspiring!

Oh and Chas, my folks friends live in HASSELT! I've passed on the message to Evo to see if he can round up a crew to go along and see you guys. How bizarre. And the pub in cumbernauld is round the corner from Nick's parents so hopefully you'll get to see a familiar face if my sister can get a babysitter.
