The Star And Shadow Market is an independent bi-monthly Sunday market from 11-4 in the Star And Shadow Cinema, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
The ideal place to shop for something that bit different and grab a bargain.
There will be products from independent designers, crafts people & artists along with 2nd hand & vintage items.
Everything from clothing & jewellery to books & music as well as beautiful items for your home.
* Entry to the public is free.
* A selection of hot and cold drinks will be available from the bar.
* Ace tunes to bop along to whilst you're browsing the stalls.
Money generated from stall hire will go to the great voluntary organisation that is the Star And Shadow Cinema.
The Star And Shadow is located at the top of Ouseburn Valley, opposite the Tanners pub.
The venue is accessible to wheelchair users.
This market is the brainchild of Krista Puranen and Lucy Farfort.

YAY!! Our very first market (which may turn out to be a one off so don't miss out) is on the 9th March, 11am - 4pm in the fantastic Star & Shadow Cinema.
17 STALLS OFFERING: .. ..Handmade/customised/quality 2nd hand clothing ..Beautiful and unique jewellery ..2nd hand books & music (find that rare piece of vinyl/book you've been looking for) ..One off treasures for your home ..Funky and alternative accessories ..Artwork/Graphics and Photography .. A cross between a flea & craft market, there will be plenty of bargains to be had as well as lovingly handcrafted goodies which you won't see on anyone else. Not only is this a place to showcase emerging creative talent, but it's also a fundraising event for the cinema (run by hard working volunteers), so you can feel like you're doing your bit, while you shop. The bar will be open so you can warm yourself up with a hot drink whilst listening to some ace tunes.
The Star And Shadow is at the top of Ouseburn Valley, opposite the Tanners pub at the city end of the Byker bridge, so not far from town.
