Our Own Justice est un band né en Juillet 2006, provenant de la Rive-Nord et de Montréal. Le tout a commencé lorsqu'Ed a (ex-Terror Rising) fait la rencontre de Jess. (ex-Burn My Eyes)Après avoir composé une toune dans le sous-sol des parents de Ed à St-Janvier, ils ont décidé de recruté un drummer, JP. (ex-Drowning Days). Le trio a roulé longtemps sans autre membre avant que Sokso se joigne à eux. Pour des raisons personnelles et légitimes, ce dernier a dû quitté après 1 an de bons moments avec le band. Our Own Justice aimerait remercier les membres qui sont passés depuis les 2 dernières années et qui ont contribué à l'évolution du groupe: Marc-André, Médé, Vince, Sokso, Gabey et Dave. Merci les gars.
Our Own Justice est présentement à la recherche d'un bassiste. Idéalement ayant son gear, capable de composer, ayant la volonté de se déplacer 2 fois par semaine pour jammer à la Cité 2000 et aussi de débourser un montant (minime) pour assurer le paiement du local et autres dépenses reliées au band. Être capable de faire des vocals est un atout.
Chaque membre a ses influences propres, ce qui fera d'Our Own Justice un band unique à tendance punk oldschool, hardcore et métal. À vous de juger notre stock live en venant nous voir aux shows et encourager la scène locale de Montréal!
Our Own Justice is band from Montreal and its surroundings, born in July 2006. Everything started when Ed(ex-Terror Rising)meet Jess. (ex-Burn My Eyes)After creating their first hit in the basement of Ed’s parents in St-Janvier, they decided it was time to recruit a drummer: it was JP. (ex-Drowning Days). It took a while before the three os uf decided to look for a bass player : it was Sokso. For personnal and totally reasonnable reasons, he had to quit after a year or so of great work among the band. Our Own Justice is actually looking for a bass player. You must have your gear, must be able to come out with wicked riffs, must be willing to get your ass at the Cite 2000 twice a week, and also willing to pay for the jam room and other stuff such as t-shirts, cds, etc. Back vocals are extra points.
Each member has their own influences, making Our Own Justice a unique band sound like a mix of oldschool punk, hardcore and metal. See for yourself by coming to see us live and encouraging your local Montreal scene!
