About me:
This year's Ouseburn Festival takes place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July in the Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle.
The aim of this year's festival is to incorporate as much of the diverse cultures of the area as possible, with workshops, music, food and entertainment coming from a wide variety of ethnic groups. Saturday 19th sees the ever-popular Family Fun Day return, with a selection of fun and games for kids and adults alike! Alongside art events, various workshops for teenagers including DJ skills, contemporary dance and much more. While Sunday 20th is parade day where everyone involved in the festival comes together in a colourful parade across the region. There's also market stalls, food and music at The Cumberland Arms, where the hugely successful Cumberland Reel returns with folk and roots music throughout the day.
