NEWSFLASH: The last 200 copies of issue 7 remain to be distributed. Almost all of them are due for mail/air shipping, in home and abroad. The delay is a natural product of the DIY philosophy that we fully embrace which does not allow us to receive any money from the readers. Hence we undertake all shipping costs ourselves.... hence the delay because in these troubled times, it is hard to support everything on your own. But it is achievable, even if it leaves you a bit behind schedule.
Work has already begun on the new issue, which is due for a Christmas release. Stay tuned. And thank you for all the support... all of you!
OUTCAST fanzine is a printed magazine which is distributed freely in Patras, Athens, Thessaloniki, Irakleio, Komotini, Larisa, Pirgo and other major greek cities. It began in April 2005 and it is not our first effort in printed fanzines - but it is definetely the real one! Outcast is not limited in music or - even more - in a few subgenres of music. Embracing all forms of artistic expression, Outcast features music, literature, cinema and a lot more. Since the first issue of spring 2005, Outcast has been released on a periodical basis of three months and includes both well known and new, upcoming artists, with an underground perspective, but always improving its design and quality. At the same time, Outcast maintains a unified approach on art and society, refusing to "separate" the fields of ideas' origins (social, political, radical) from the fields of ideas' expressions (art and creation). This profile is maintained as a place of communication between all of us. You can contact us to show us your work , ask for info where you can find the magazine (or obtain it by mail) , tell us your opinion about Outcast or all of the above!
