As is the realm of the Outer Spacist, so are the dimensions of the universe. These which remain to the human mind at an undeterminable amount with unseen boundaries that can only evoke curiosity and imagination, rather than consummate comprehension. And so what has now been brought forth to the earth is of the same family as all outer space inhabitants: where as the meteor is our brother and the comet our sister, the moon, distant stars and suns our cousins, lovers and friends. Now on earth can be found what was actualized light years away, flying to the earth in the form of a gyrfalcon earth bird, the Outer Spacist has delivered itself unto this earth as a means for deliverance. A rock and roll band that exhibits not one mistake in nor misconception of its purpose. That being; to build the humanistic utopia as it once existed generations ago, along with the addition of our own very appropriate modifications.........................................................................

The holy land is on the banks of the Great Salt Lake in Utah, the temple is Saltair, but the correct Saltair remains in waiting of its construction. Where is our sight for this stands currently an atrocious mockery of the brilliance that built the original in 1895. After it burnt down in 1925 the second building followed in tribute while displaying some of its own original features. That one also burnt down after long being out of business, that is why together we will build a new Saltair, with the very large dance floor, and the lovely pavilion, we can bring back the coliseum, the train, the roller coaster and other rides. We can destroy this current white travesty of a Saltair that sits upon the Outer Spacist holy land, and recreate the original perfection of architect Richard Klettings vision...............................................................

HERK HARVEY The player of the bass guitar, named after our beloved hero from Lawrence Kansas, the film director of the film masterpiece; Carnival of Souls. We were first able to behold the majestic vision of Saltair through the implementation of television airwaves. So many late night airings guided the splendorous sights through outer space until they located and transmitted themselves to us. In outer space we do not have eyes, and we have no useful purpose for televisions. Instead we are able to interpret the television frequencies with our vision sensors, we de-scrambled the cosmic airwaves and became a devoted audience. We took absolute delight in the otherworldly sense we experienced while gazing on Saltair, first discovering it in Carnival of Souls. After that we did our research and had the spiritual manifestation which will result in the new holy land.......................................

PETER PAVILION the player of a guitar, this former entity of outer space now resides on the earth as a man, was given his name due to his escapades and endeavors in his own pavilion in outer space. He self-constructed a Saltarian-type tribute having a lovely dance floor and a high arched ceiling that effectively spread the sound of the dance orchestra to all the pavilions corners so that all patrons of the party could have equal listening pleasure. While in the pavilion it is the custom to partake on the indulges that accompany plural marriage, as we will one day in our earth pavilion and sacred holy land Saltair..............................................................................

BRIGHAM YOUNG the player of a guitar, named after the Mormon American hero, who lead the single greatest migration west the new land was to witness. He founded civilization on the Great Salt Lake and created it as the Promised Land for the Latter Day Saints. His practice of polygamy is what most inspires us, it is one of the fundamentals to the Mormon sect and is also a vital element to the utopia of Saltair. Our Brigham Young lead Peter Pavilion and Herk Harvey through the frontiers of the galaxies and to the earth by means of a craft that somewhat resembled the shape of a horse and carriage. That being the most favored mode of transportation for our beloved Brigham Young and his devoted saints.............................................

LAZARUS The player of the drums, named after the mortal that was risen from the dead according to popular earthling literature. With much similarity was our drummer risen from the dead through the performing of a ritual developed in outer space. This is a practice involving too many unearthly factors to be depicted in a human language. Lazarus once existed as an entity in outer space, he knew of the earth and decided to explore, he arrived in the state of Utah in the earth year of 1905. He was a constant client of the illustrious pleasure-dome known as Saltair and lived an archetype life as a Salt Lake City shop owner and husband to dozens of wives. He died a mortals death in 1950 and was very happy that we resurrected him to play drums in the rock and roll band. After giving us his percussive offerings for the full length record, he has since parted ways with the band in order to pursue his scientific interests, and dozens of wives. Before his exit he conducted for us and unto us a cosmic ceremony evoking a spirit and soul long since removed from the tangibility of the living. After 2 months of formulation, was proliferated back to physical being, former American presidential candidate, the Prophet Joseph Smith, he is our new drummer..................................................................................................

THE PROPHET JOSEPH SMITH - Our drummer. In his former incarnation as the religious leader and founder of what became the Mormon church, Joseph Smith died a martyr, beaten to death by a mob of locals in an Illinois Jail. We dont want that to happen again, so this time around hell be playing some rock and roll songs before any realistic aspiration for the presidency................................................................................................
