About us:
The Outhouse Studios is a music recording studio based in Reading, Berkshire. With over 15 years of solid experience, studio owner and producer John Mitchell has worked with many of the best bands in rock music. The studio has seen a huge number of classic and modern-day bands pass through its doors - from Enter Shikari (producing and mixing their gold-selling debut album), Funeral For A Friend, You Me At Six, My Passion, The Blackout, Architects, Kill The Arcade, I Was a Cub Scout, Tonight Is Goodbye, Attack! Attack!, Saving Aimee and This City to It Bites, Girlschool and Tygers of Pan Tang.
The studio:
The studio is housed within a converted 19th century 'outhouse', which features a spacious control room and a soundproofed vocal booth, as well as a floating soundproofed drum booth also used for cab miking. For more spec details, visit the website at www.outhousestudios.co.uk.
The costs:
Our studio rates are exceptionally competitive , and you will get a thoroughly experienced, enthusiastic and talented team plus a top-rate professional recording set-up - you won't find anywhere better for the price and talent. We base our costings on an outline guide of recording one song per day, plus mixing at the end (we can mix up to 3 tracks per day).
