OUTHOUSE STUDIOS is a music recording studio based in Reading, Berkshire. With decades of experience, studio owner and producer John Mitchell has worked with some best in rock music. Over the years the studio has seen a great number of classic and modern-day bands pass through its doors - from Enter Shikari (producing and mixing their gold-selling debut album), Funeral For A Friend, You Me At Six, Kill The Arcade, My Passion, Architects, I Was a Cub Scout, This City to Girlschool and Tygers of Pan Tang.

The studio is housed within a 19th century 'outhouse', which has been fully converted to provide a spacious control room and a soundproofed vocal booth, as well as a floating soundproofed drum booth which is also used for cab miking. The studio rate is £250 a day. That gets you a thoroughly experienced, enthusiastic and talented team plus a top-rate professional recording set-up - you won't get anywhere better for the price. With a selection of inexpensive hotels just round the corner (The Abbey House Hotel - 1 minute's walk from the studio, or Travelodge Reading Oxford Road - 10 minutes' walk from the studio), you're looking at the perfect place to record your album, EP or demo.
