A life long dream of mine has always been to make music. I have always played the guitar and beat on the drums here and there, but never did much studio work.I owe my folks for my strong musical core. The day dad let me play his 58 model les paul jr. guitar, and the couple years of accordian lessons that ma made me do, that was the start I think , of the lifestye I know was not their intent. lol . As well, music has been spiritual to me in that I remember almost crying when as a kid a thought that my favorite songs on the radio, that were not making the charts anymore, therefore not getting played as much, soon I would never hear ever again. I went to Ma with this crazy possibility, and her wisdom again was calming when explaining the concept of vinyl copies that you can buy called RECORDS. Whew!! So thats where the collection began of the hundreds of LP's I still have to this day, along with my first turntable/stereo setup. Thanks Ma !! Music has always defined the memories of my life, and have made me feel as though it is a calling for me to make my own music. So here, at age 40 something, are some of my first recordings. I use a casio keyboard, my samick guitar, drum machine, and pc to mix and record me on guitar, myself on drums, and I on bass and keyboards. Till I find a singer and other band members, there will be no attempt to sing, and for good reason. lol My songs have certain places and thoughts to them when I make them. Like the song Ride West. It is a song that reminds me of my truck driving days. I would be on the road for months, then would finally get a load heading west, towards my hometown of Riverside, California. I would drive all night. This song gives the feeling I had going thru the desert and feeling the dry winds knowing Im getting close to Home. I can remember tv shows like "barretta" that had characters like "sugar bear" and soundtracks like my "1970" track. Those were in my opinion, the good ol days and "1970" is the soundtrack that plays in my memories of that time. Anyways, I plan to have more and if ever I get good enough to get signed to a label, Ill be sure to forget all of you, and become a real asshole, and act like the rest of the known rock stars, IDIOTS. lol . Just kidding. I don't need to be signed to do that, can do that very well now....hehe ! Thanks for checkin my songs out, If you would, just leave a comment on what you think of them .
