關於我： The Outlaws in America Drama Club is Kim Fowley's 21st Century version of Orson Welles's Mercury Theatre. They are actors whose repertoire includes the Crimson Dirt Machine Movies body of work.
Kim Fowley is not stranger to the silver screen. He is the son of B-movie actors.
Dad, Douglas Fowley played in "Charlie Chan," "Mr. Moto," "Singing In The Rain," "Battleground," and "Cat Women of The Moon."
Mom, Shelby Payne played in "The Big Sleep," with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. She was an Adrian Model and a Goldwyn Girl.
Kim is currently a Supporting Actor in "Mayor of The Sunset Strip" and "Edgeplay" = two USA Underground Film Classics currently seen on In-Demand on Showtime (USA).
Many have compared Kim Fowley to Ed Wood. Both operate on tiny budgets, both have Big Dreams, and both did their time in Hollywood's Underbelly.
Kim Fowley worked at American International Records in 1959. His two projects were "Ghosts of Drag Strip Hollow" and "Diary of a High School Bride"... this obviously was the catalyst lynch pin for his current 21st Century Cinema Trash output.
Kim jumped out of the B-movie box during his career to contribute songs and/or musical production to such Mainstream Blockbusters as "American Graffiti," "Dazed and Confused," and "Big Mama's House," as well as the 2006 Top Box Office Family Comedy, "RV," starring Robin Williams, who shares a birthday with Mr. Fowley -- July 21.
