Fully embodying the DIY spirit of today’s most prolific and influential indie bands, Los Angeles based rock powerhouse Outlett has truly come Full Circle, an explosive 7 track EP that marks their first worldwide distributed recording. The project was helmed by multi-platinum rock producer Toby Wright, who has produced some of the biggest hard rock acts of the past two decades—Slayer, Three Doors Down, Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Alice in Chains and Metallica.

The can’t-miss combination of blistering performances, infectious songwriting and lead singer Chastity Ashley’s boldness netted them their latest, greatest coup—recording Full Circle under Toby’s guidance. Chastity says, “We all love everything he’s ever done. Toby has made all of us dig deeper into our inner artistry and pushed us to our limits as musicians and artists.”

Toby quickly responded to Outlett’s commitment, passion and vast array of musical gifts. Chastity’s vocals convey her brutally honest lyrics that share her fears, depth, vision, truth, hopes and desires—all fueled through positive aggression; she’s also a skilled percussionist, specializing on the djembe. Her cohorts JJ (bass), Hoss and Joey (guitars) and Brian (drums) bring an eclectic batch of inspiration to the mix.

The EP title Full Circle refers to the five members evolving to this point from where they started, growing both individually and as a band that was meant to make music together. The project truly reflects what they set out to do, tapping into the fears that went into everything from Point A to Point B, love, things lost and gained, being in the trenches and then standing on top of the mountain.

Among the highlights reflecting this intense and edgy yet melodic vibe on Full Circle are “Say Goodbye” and “Power of Truth” both penned and sung with life affirming conviction by Chastity. “Say Goodbye” is about loving something or somebody so much that you have to leave when you realize it’s not reciprocated; you care so much that the only time you can say goodbye is when that person turns their back. “Power of Truth” is an empowering anthem tying into the band’s story of personal triumph, pushing forward through obstacles no matter what the world throws at them.

They sold over 10,000 units of their first release; received a month of airplay on L.A. tastemaker rock station KROQ for “Say Goodbye” and headlined at KROQ’s Microbrew Festival; landed an opening slot on the Motley Crue and Aerosmith Tour and the Vans Warped Tour; sold out numerous shows at hometown hotspots like the House of Blues Sunset, El Rey Theatre, The Roxy and Viper Room; did a “Rock The Campus Tour” across the Southwest; and co-headlined with The Long Beach Dub All-Stars (Sublime)
