OUT LOUD MUSIC STUDIOS: (REHEARSAL ROOMS) formally "Lucid Studios" and "The Cold Rooms" are located in West End, Brisbane, Australia. OUR FACILITIES:
We have large custom built, air con'd rehearsal rooms for bands to practice. Our rooms are 6m X 6m in size so there is lots of room to jam in. The sound proofing is excellent so you can enjoy the sound of your own band without having to compete with the band in the next room!!
We also have a performance room which has a large mirror across one wall. This means you get to see what the audience sees.
We have brand new ALTO PAs in every room with new mics and stands.
There is also a dry flat load in area, so no more wet gear when it's raining.
We have in-house hire equipment if you don't have an instrument or if yours is out of action. We hire an electric guitar, bass guitar, guitar and bass amps (100watts) and a 5 piece Pearl Export drum kit with cymbals.
We have an onsite manager to greet you and if you need they will give you a quick training session in how to use the P.A. The onsite manager will be available to assist with any problems you may have during your session.
There is a convenience store on site stocked with everything you might need from guitar strings, drum heads to chocolate bars and more. If you are gigging and need things after hours you can always drop in and purchase them here as we are open until 10pm. OTHER FACILITIES: TRAINING ROOM. Upstairs we have an airconditioned training room for hire. It seats 25 people. It has polished floor boards and a small office/prep room attached. There is also a fully appointed kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge freezer, stove/oven, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities upstairs. Let us know what you need in the room for your training session and we will work a price out that includes everything you require. OTHER SERVICES: Video camera hire so you can video your rehearsal, professional performance coaches available (by arrangement), a website with an online booking enquiry service, band equipment storage facilities and yes, we have EFTPOS and CREDIT CARD facilities.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
