Making art (not tar). Reading books. Listening to music. Writing books that will never be finished. Walking everywhere. Talking late into the evening, or early into the morning. Procrastinating on any and all art projects and homework.
Whatever. Stuff. This and That. Et cetera. Et all. Eat. Yeah.
Music
A small smattering of my current listenings: Iron & Wine, Beirut, Swell Season, mewithoutYou, Sufjan Stevens, Copeland, As Cities Burn (Come Now Sleep era), Coldplay, Sleeping at Last, The Cure, Jacob Golden, Andrew Bird, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens... the list is endless! I'd like to hear more of the Avett Brothers at some point. Also, I like being introduced to new music, so make your recomendations!
Movies
The Royal Tenenbaums, Once, The Lord of the Rings, Labyrinth, Lost In Translation, Stranger Than Fiction, Everything is Illuminated, Singin' In The Rain, The Darjeeling Limited, Harold & Maude, The Life Aquatic, Elizabethtown, Star Wars (IV, V, VI only), Dan in Real Life, Mirrormask, Spirited Away... good movies!
Television
It really stresses me out to watch TV. (Which is why it's really weird that I like The Office so much.)
Books
The Chronicles of Narnia, The Great Divorce, The Bible, Neverwhere, The Sandman Series, Coraline, A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Great Gatsby, Persuasion, Emma, The Little Prince, the Harry Potter series, The Shadow of the Wind, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close... Ah! I could no sooner choose a favourite star from the heavens! In the words of Ringo "Books are good."
About me: My name is Olivia, and I make art. I eat. I sleep. Sometimes, I walk around. I'm a child of God. I enjoy riding my bicycle. Someday, I'd like to be a hermit--with my friends, of course. I try not to be a Murderer of Love, but it happens sometimes, even to the best of us. I'm a big fan of Grace and Mercy. I volunteer at Kuppajoe most every Friday, so come say hi one o' these nights!
Who I'd like to meet: People who do their own dishes!
Hey Olivia! I found a website for artists to sell stuff. They don't take a commission and it's free to sign up. They have a great crafts part but the fine arts portion sucks. It's kinda like E-Bay for artists. Check it out it's, Artfire.com. Now that's out of they way, what have you been up to?
