Jayan & Out of Order at The Simple Simon 09.06.2007
I'm a singer-songwriter who till recently, only ever played in bands. Out of Order being the most recent project. It's been loads of fun, very fluid and we made quite some friends along the way. The idea was simple, to get together as a free sounding, blues-rocky, live outfit, emphasising the blend of words and music into moods, often rough, often dirty, always "live".
Out of Order is still around, but I've started also to venture out on my own. The change has been good, with the freedom to adapt the songs to the mood of the singing, to experiment with simple variations of style, to sing as I feel the words. Been enjoying it. Want more! Book me?
Need to get some new recordings done! The ones on here at the moment were done during a live session with the band at the Community Arts Workshop studios in Leamington (cheers John!). If anyone out there likes what you're hearing and feel moved to offer up some recording time and facilities...
I hope you will come say hello if you see me around, or drop me a line, let me know what you think...I would love to hear from you!
A big thank you to Alan for making this page possible... Thanks Alan!
