Age 9 - starts to realise that he has a certain quirky yet debonair nature inherited from some place
Onset of puberty - reads Bram Stoker's Dracula under the bedcovers, thus developing a lifelong fascination with vampires
Age 12 - takes a subscription to MAD magazine
Age 13 - admitted and addicted to the Beehive Club
Age 15 - hormones kick in big time
Age 16 - all that's left is a band of gold
Age 17 - writes a poem
Age 18 - takes a photograph of Sue
Age 20 - gets stuck in an elevator
Age 24 - breaks a guitar string that remains unrepaired for 25 years
Age 26 - learns German
Age 28 - ankle injury forces retirement from football
Age 35 - enters the dark age
Age 45 - decides his story is worth writing
Age 50 - no longer too old to make his thoughts reality
I am suffering from a terminal condition called Life. When I finally succumb to it I wish to be serene and peaceful, to have made up for my wrongs against anyone, and to have brought a bit of happiness to others. In short, to end up with a karma balance in the plusses. This is within my power.
Mostly, more than all riches and writings, I take inspiration from the people I meet and love. I've discovered through them what it means to have an open heart. I want nothing worse for them than I want for myself. People have come and gone. I have loved so many, not for some use or gain, but purely for their souls.

Addicted to feeling good, you'll do almost anything to avoid pain.
People seek you out, even though you can be quite moody. They're hooked on you!
