OUTRAGE is one of the first Austrian bands who mixes old school death metal with rock influences. On a cold winter day in the year 2000 a few friends formed that band we know today as OUTRAGE. The neck breaking music they create is as precious as the blood that flows through their veins. The band has many influences but they still keep true to them self, the most influential bands are Obituary, Sepultura, Disbelief, Six Feet Under for there hard and aggressive style as well as Bolt Thrower, AC/DC and many more.
In the last 8 years OUTRAGE toured and performed as often as possible to show what their music style is. After the release of their first promo cd ”and deeper…” in 2001, the band started to record their first studio album “Switch off the pain” in 2005.
After that OUTRAGE performed at many festivals (Donauinsel Fest, Metalcamp 05/07/08, Hellraiser Open Air, Walpurgis Metal Days, Kaltenbach Open Air, Summer Nights Open Air as well as many others) and support-shows for bands such as Obituary, Six Feet Under, Disbelief, Graveworm, Betzefer and many others.

Over the years the sound has progressed to the brutal but groovy combination of murdering guitar riffs and the feeling of aggressive marching beats which creates their own style without following the mainstream. The Band knows that lyrics about anger, frustration, suicide, war and politics harmonise perfect to this brutal style of music.

OUTRAGE is not a mainstream band, they don’t follow the trends but set there own guidelines and express themselves and their music in their own form like many of their influences.

With the upcoming release of the bands first full length album “CONTAMINATED” which was recorded in October 2008 in Kohlekeller Studios near Darmstadt/Germany, OUTRAGE is proud of their demolition drum sound, chainsaw guitars and the thundering voice of hell which should burn a hole in every listeners ear making them thrive for more.

06.10.2009 // MAINTAIN RECORDS - NEW ALBUM
Finally we made one of the most important steps in the history of Outrage. Outrage has found a new home in Maintain Records in Berlin! Maintain Records stands for “hard stuff music”, and have Bands like Dying Humanity, Thirdmoon, Kaaras and more in their roster. We are very proud to announce that we have become a member of the Maintain Records Family!

Our forthcoming Album “Contaminated” will be distributed by Twilight and released by Maintain Records on November 6th 2009, and from this date on available for you, our amazing fans.

After making this step we look at the future with a relentless morale, the time is used to tour as much as possible, and to write more „Neckbreaking Songs“!
