Outside Residential is a one man band.
Atmosphere is important for me when it comes to my music. I will make your brain purr and make your spine shiver. I've noticed that my music tends to make people dance. I tend to have a visual element to my set (be it video projection or costumed performers). I've played solo and with other musicians (violin - drums - guitar - noise pedals -vocals).
I also prefer to record new music for every live show I play. Though I have been known to replay some of my favorite songs.
I finished recording "The Mechanical Rabbit Hatch" in February of 2006 (80 min album) which only made its way into a small number of people's hands. I've recorded roughly 8 hours of finished and unfinished material since then as well as music for various performance art pieces and short videos. I still have not released an "official" album.
