Creative, original, risk-taking writer/director looking to develop mutually beneficial working relationships with like-minded, motivated and fearless individuals (both talent and crew) on multiple projects.
In addition to the collaborative projects I have in development, I've also written several original feature-length screenplays, most of which are available for consideration, and all of which lend themselves to the precept that dreams should never be compromised, imagination cannot be contained by boundaries, and audiences are far more intelligent than the suits would have them believe.
Currently upping my networking efforts in the hopes that I can find THEE agent and/or producer with whom I can form a lasting alliance from which creative and personal success will emerge. I know you're out there... I can hear you breathing.
No egomaniacs or shifty characters please; already been there and done that, have no sympathy for it. Please, sincere inquiries only.
Here's hoping you have the same vision.

Extinguish is the short experimental film that resulted from my spontaneous involvement in the Detroit Filmmakers Coalition 1997 Super-8 Saturday event. Under the event's mandate of a strict twenty-four hour limit in which to complete the project, Extinguish was edited entirely in-camera on Super-8mm film; no rehearsal, no dailies, and no second takes. The impromptu shoot took place in the suitably gloomy basement of the now-defunct Ascension UK, a magnificent (and sorely missed) coffeehouse/meeting place for Detroit's darker set. Extinguish is also noteworthy in that it features the screen debut of Emileigh Rohn, alpha-component of her one-woman Detroit electronica music project Chiasm, as the solitary character in the film's dark little world, and her remarkable improvisation of the subject matter carries the project brilliantly.
Now, a full decade later, Extinguish has come full circle. With the September 2008 release of Chiasm's latest full length album REFORM, it gives me great pleasure to present this "Official Chiasm Reform Edit" of Extinguish, newly remastered and sporting a decidedly "low-tech" retro-future makeover to match the electro aesthetic of Emileigh's music. This end result is truly the definitive version of Extinguish on all counts, and is my personal favorite of all previous versions and incarnations. To say that I've been very fortunate to have had Emileigh's continuing participation in the project would be a gross understatement; I can safely say that without her involvement Extinguish would have never become what it is. And realistically, without the experience that Extinguish has provided me, I doubt I'd be where I am now.

In 2001, Manga Entertainment released a groundbreaking anime film called "Blood: The Last Vampire" to rave reviews and critical accolades. Based on an original manga created by Benkyo Tamaoki and utilizing a masterful blending of CG and traditional cel animation, the film helped pave the way for a new technological era in anime, while at the same time offering a thought provoking, ambiguous merging of suspense, action and horror. With no backstory and even less of a conclusive ending, "Blood: The Last Vampire" left much unanswered while raising new questions.
A long-time fan of Japanese animation, writer-director Brian Sullivan found the enigmatic Saya and her fight against an ancient evil an intriguing concept. Adapting the characters and situations presented in the original anime, Brian wrote an original short screenplay for the project, conceptualized as a live-action continuation of the original story and presenting Saya and her struggle in a more contemporary setting.
The selection of relative newcomer Molly White to portray the title character proved to be the production's greatest asset, as her uncanny physical/facial resemblance to the animated Saya lends a high degree of credibility while providing a solid bridge between the original anime and our live-action feature.
Though still in the pre-production phase, we invite you to check back for further updates and appreciate your interest in our work. More info to come!

Sound good? Then please be sure to include a message with your add request so we know you're legit. We get far too many generic add-me's from those who have absolutely nothing to do with what we're striving to achieve here, and it's not only annoying but time consuming to have to weed through each page to see who's what and what's who.
Also, all junk site solicitors/friend count trolls will be rejected, ejected, and subjected to harsh karmic repercussions. New friends of a similar mindset - good. Individuals seeking astronomic friend counts - bad.
Haha! Indeed. We've been out of touch. And I'm out of time. But I'm out of my head when you're not around...
I hope all is going well. D1052 soon? Please? By the way, whenever someone plays 1052 or 2501 for the lottery at work, I giggle. And wonder if maybe they're closet cyberpunks.
Hahaha! I was just thinking about you the other day. Oddly enough while watching Crysalis, yet another glimpse into the world of future France. I will indeed be recording myself eating peanuts and trying to pass it off as ambience for you know what. Then, reluctantly, going back to the drawing board and actually making some you know what for you know what.
