A Synoptic Analysis Of Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory I was watching The Aristocrats and it is a great documentary, but I think Cartman does the best version of the joke and the commentary about Gilbert Gottfried going from bombing with 9/11 humor to a house of comedians to the joke misses the point, you know?
Well, anyway, while watching I set up a store where you can buy Outsight gear on Cafe Press

These troubling economic times are making me go back and see what went wrong. I am reading "Free to Choose" by The Friedmans. The ideas of school vouchers and welfare reform, I had no idea they were so well-defined for so long! I long for real, small, unobtrusive government. I am also reading Eichenwald's "Conspiracy of Fools" which is long, detailed account of Enron. Wow, pull back the curtain and we see these really were no the "smartest guys in the room," just greedy men run amok!
I am also reading House of Barrymores about the great family of actors. Along with that, I am reading a collection of Poe stories and poems. I never realized before how themes of isolation - and inhumation is an extreme form of that - run so thick through his writing.
I am also reading a book about the role of statistics in business, since it is closely related to what I do at work.
Also, thanks to LPR, there is 24/7 access to Outisght (and other great
music) on your cell phone via UpSnap. Again, the Leaf Pile listing in "Rock, Etc." is actually Outsight 24/7.

Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep. I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep. The leftovers beckoned--the dark meat and white, but I fought the temptation with all of my might.
Tossing and turning with anticipation, the thought of a snack became infatuation. So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.
I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes, pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes. I felt myself swelling so plump and so round, till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.
I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie. But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees....... happy eating to all---pass the cranberries, please!
