General

"Hillhouse creates vivid images of stark violence and high emotions that amplify her strongest gift: the ability to depict an utter lack of morality both in and out of Baghdad's Green Zone. We understand why mercy and humanity are unwelcome feelings for Stone, just as we feel his sense of outrage that "none of his training had prepared him for torture at the hands of another American." For a novel with a weighty subject, "Outsourced" also benefits from Hillhouse's dark humor about turf wars and other political maneuvers. "[I]n the War on Terror, the Pentagon's the eight-hundred-pound gorilla and at best you guys at Langley are Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp," remarks one of Black's employees to a high-ranking CIA executive, summing up the power struggle between two government agencies in a single sentence."
"It is the political thriller we deserve." --Los Angeles Times

Outsourced, a terrific thriller, reads like the very best non- fiction.  I believed every scene.”

--James Patterson. #1 New York Times bestselling author of the 5th Horsemen

“A Wild Ride Behind Today’s War Zone Headlines.”

--W.E.B. Griffin, #1 The New York Times bestselling author of the series The Corps and Brotherhood of War

“Hillhouse has set a new standard for the 21st Century spy thriller.  Stunning and eye-opening.”

--Nelson DeMille #1 New York Times bestselling author of Up Country

“To understand what’s happening in our world, you need to read this book.”

--David Morrell, New York Times bestselling author of Creepers and creator of Rambo

“OUTSOURCED is reminiscent of the best Ludlum, Follett, and early Tom Clancy. Hillhouse writes with unusual authority and insider access.”
Joseph Finder, New York Times bestselling author of Killer Instinct

"Ripped from the headlines?  Or a preview of tomorrow's headlines?  Either way, you'll love this book."

--Lee Child New York Times bestselling author of the Jack Reacher series

"An insightful look into the war on terrorism."
—Brigadier General Frank “Sam” Huey, USMC ret.

“OUTSOURCED captures the spirit and grit of the men and women that go in harm’s way as private citizens--call them mercenaries or contractors.”
—Frank Gallagher, Agent in Charge of Blackwater’s security detail for Ambassador Paul Bremer, head of the Coalition Provisional Authority of Iraq

"OUTSOURCED combines a rollercoaster ride into the terrifying world of the Iraq war with a sobering examination of the potential legacy of Donald Rumsfeld in encouraging and funding private armies. What purports to be today's fiction is well on the way to becoming tomorrow's reality."

—Rob Kresge, retired founding member of the CIA’s Counterterrorist Center

"How things really are in the special World of black operations."
Major Grady King, US Army, ret., recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and Purple Heart

I'm a Lcpl in the United States Marines, I've just returned from Iraq, and viewing your website has giving me comfort in knowing that what I fought for and what my friend died for was worth the long days and long nights we all worked for, it is people like you that make this job so honorbale and so great. I am Honored and fell Privilaged to defend our nation and to protect people like you. Again I want to thank you for making a place where our Fallen Heros are remembered, and were our troops are honored. For every name on your page and everyone that did not make it home shall never be forgotten and for ever remembered, and I thank you for making this Happen.

On beath of my fellow brothers and sisters in Arms I thank you for your support, and I honor your service to us.

Sincerly
Lcpl Esser Uwe

If there is anything I can ever help you with please fell free to ask.
