Mar 21 2008 7:52 PM

hey Cris. just a quick message to ask whether you'd be interested in jamming sometime before June. I'm finding it difficult to meet people to jam with. Even if I just play riffum. I'm currently job searching again right now so have a lot of free time.
message us if you're interested!

Hey up, yeah great to meet you, I really enjoyed the music, and the vibe of the night was great too. Is that an oud you hold, and can you play it?? I love the sound of oud's and saz's.. have you heard of Kaleidoscope? a band from the late 60's america using oud's saz's, dobro's , fiddles, etc within a sort of country (ish), rock type way... some great improvised (long) jams.. anyway, all the best, Gem.
Mr Pete!

Dec 15 2007 6:01 PM

hey Cris! Yes I'm definitely up for jamming!!! I've never played with a accordonnerist (accordiner) ((accordonian)) before, and it would be good to see you play too. I will message you my contact number and I need to visit the shop sometime because I need some advice on the best way to amplify my guitar. All the best

Nov 25 2007 10:01 AM

oh hey cris! Thanks for the reply. I think the one that i am looking at is fitted inside the bridge. But they emailed me telling me all this gobbledegook about how they install it. I'm trying to look at other places to purcahse the big tone from because I'm chinese and I'm a cheap skate (don't tell anyone this but i think they go hand in hand). Checked out Caravan Palace and really dig their sound. I like like like. Would like to have a bash at Bossa Dorado but not sure if I'm good enough yet. Bossa rhythm a little weak! Was good to hear you and your colleague play Manoir De Me Reve the other day. Really made my day man. All the best, will keep you updated
Mr Pete!

Nov 23 2007 10:50 AM

Hey! Does Chris the guitar man live here? I wonder if you would know how to install a big tone pick up for my D500 Gitane. Message me your price man, I hope Malarky and the music is going well. all the best!

Nov 2 2007 3:01 PM

hey! how's it going? i really wanna hear the new stuff when you've finished it! i'm missing the old gypsy madness music up hear in liverpool, it's all indie and shell suits here. being the retard i am i accidently deleted instead of added the comment you sent me with the video link! can you send me that again, looked really cool. lipa's cool, the people on the course are a laugh. i've been forced to play loads of really dodgy music in the ensemble classes like lisa loeb and jamie cullum stuff haha. for some reason some of the other people always want to do all this cheesy music. we've got to play a concert in december with all this stuff haha. I've tried to balance that with mad jazz fusion and flamenco, although i seem to be sounding more and more like santana. i think it's that new guitar! Check this video out, it's a mad santana video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNoZg9kl-zE very funny!
