Started to make songs at the age of 18 (turning 19 in the same year) in college, I began making beats at the age of 20 but had minimal prior experience in the past. Now I am professional as they come when I make music. Niggas know me as Ian but on the mic, I'm simply known as Ova. This page is used mainly for promotion...but off the record: I am educated with a bachelor's degree in biology.
At first, I aligned myself with old and new friends when I made music in the past. Currently, I still welcome the vocals of old and new friends on my tracks now, but for the most part Ova is indeed on his own. When it comes to making my music I say whatever the fuck I feel. I make songs about everything except conscious rap (by choice). I am not your ordinary producer I make beats of different styles, and I try to do features with anyone who wants me to bless the track.
Televisions and the radios are two things I pay no attention to, because "most" the artist on these devices don't try to better themselves, I feel more than half of whats out is pure crap. Artist purposely sign other artist whose already in the game just to join their labels, when the real talent is back in the streets (not everyone). Bottom line is I am one the most talented Deejays but however fate deals its cards to me, chances are I could remain unsigned or not.. it doesn't matter, fuck everyone else I make music for me and whoever wants to listen.
