Now this is the story, all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
So I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there
I’ll tell ya how I became the prince of a life solitaire.

In North California, born and raised
In books, written pages I spent many a day
Seekin’ out, learnin’, breakin’ all the rules
And just livin’ all my own, try’n’ not to be a fool
When all’a these people that seemed doin’ so good
Started gettin’ doubted by my livelihood
By a critical light I came at last aware
I said “If you felt it too you’d be a prince solitaire”

I found my mind free, I was lost and I feared
That endless possibility condemned me here
Reason and I found no ground and we stared…
But yo man, I beat it… walked on - solitaire!

I came… into my own - what y’all got wouldn’t sate
And I yelled to all morals, Yo home! Smell ya later!
I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there,
My mind on the throne, as the Prince Solitaire!

Hello all. I'm Delphiki. I'm a Melee player and philosophy student from Norcal. My lists are topped by the likes of Nietzsche, Sartre, George Carlin, Frank Herbert's Dune, and Slavoj Žižek, and The Matrix. Recently I've begun becoming more and more interested in cultural studies and theory, and I think that libraries, the internet and torrents are some of the best things our society has to offer.

I started my self-education by reading a bit of psychology at a time when, for all external purposes I was just a pot-smoking guitarist. When I had my doubts about Freud, I went on to Plato. Who I am now was born sometime during Kant and especially Nietzsche, then elaborated by Sartre, Kaufmann, GC, and others.

In general I'm a very open and confrontational person, and very critical. I enjoy trying to reflect and see another's point-of-view. More personal dirt and some of my writings can be found in my blogs at AllisBrawl and Myspace.

I've done a few translations of Alizée songs on my Youtube profile, where I also put up my DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 matches. The vid translations are pretty good :), and Catnip/Melvin and I are very good at Tenkaichi.
