This page is dedicated to the members of Over Ashes. Over Ashes is currently on hiatus, but feel free to check out some of the other projects they are working on in our top friends section.
Over Ashes, formerly known as "Cross Culture", was formed in the beginning of 2007 by frontman Justin David and drummer Denver Shindle. Over Ashes picked up bass player Gardy Garcia from Texas in the months to follow. The debut album "Begin Again" released worldwide in July, 2007. Over Ashes began doing extremely well for an independent band with no label. Cd sales would eventually exceed 20,000 units. In the months following the release, Justin David would resign from Over Ashes and step out of the band entirely. After a few auditions, Caleb Carpenter from Virginia, assumed the role as the new frontman for Over Ashes. In March of 2008, guitarist Josh Davis hopped on board to become the newest member of OVer Ashes. In April, Denver Shindle left the band after complications with management. Over Ashes would then go on to play 5 or 6 more shows with fill-in drummers Andrew Boyd and Devon Caldwell. After complications with management and internal affairs, the members of Over Ashes decided to go on hiatus and pursue other interests. Feel free to see what they are up to in the top friends section. They would love to hear from you.

Psalm 105:1-5 (KJV) O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore. Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

So I really think it's an awesome idea to do a mission trip across America. I'm actually going into youth ministries...and when I'm older in my 20's and still single I'm thinking about going to other countries for mission work. It's a world of possibilities. I'm also a camp counselor at a bible camp...it's Story Book Lodge Christian Camp....it's amazing...haha but I'll pray for God's blessing on you all.... I'm listing to your music right now and It's anointed. I love it. Keep playing for Christ. He is more important than anything in this world. ♥ Michelle

Hey Thanks for the comment back....Things are going great here.Hopefully for you all as well.I truly enjoy your music,I'm so glad you found me,and I think it's pretty special that you don't just invite friends and never contact them again,that seems to be the way of most....Don't get me wrong,I don't think any of us expect a message everyday,but now and then the personal touch is nice....Besides I'm sure there are those out there who really need to feel that connection...God Bless You all in your musical journey.
