After a more than deserved holidays, Overflow Records is back on track with the sixth reference, coming straight from one of the biggest names when it comes about Techno: Mr. Fanon Flowers, the raising star from Kalamazoo, MI, a place between two cities that marked the history of electronic music (Detroit & Chicago) it’s our next artist.

Producing techno since 1992, with a original style mixing the soul of house music with the syncopated rhythms of techno, creator of one of the best labels in techno like Mechanism Industries, Fanon Flowers is for sure one of the few that continues the traces of the original school.

The man just started a new label called Studio Sound, showing some jack trax in the Acid Kush EP.

With “Blue Dreams” we’re going to find a lot of that. Pure of that Chicago sound on the first two tracks that gives the name to the release, with a neat progression of layers, a journey to those days.

The third cut named “Stoney Island” it’s pure minimalistic techno track, where the dephts and darkness are merged together into this hypnotic rhythmics, almost like a tribal ritual.

Animale os está preparando unas cuantas sorpresas, y prueba de ello es el festival del otoño que trae un invitado especial, plato fuerte donde los haya, si, estamos hablando de Tote King, una de las figuras más potentes de la nueva escuela del hip hop español. Y junto a él, Tim Xavier, productor estrella de Clink Recordings, y que es hoy por hoy uno de los máximos exponentes del techno vanguardista a nivel mundial. Estadounidense afincado en Berlín que nos deleitará con un set live de techno esponjoso, oscuro y aderezado con bajos de línea densa. Junto a ellos estarán el próximo 31 de Octubre, en Camelot Club, nuestra residente más querida, Nuria Ghia, Affkt, joven productor valenciano que ya ha remezclado a Ricardo Villalobos y un gran elenco de artistas que, como siempre os harán disfrutar como nunca.
