I has been singing since I was seven-years old, & then picked up the drums and guitar around age fifteen, so music has always been a major part of my life. I have lived through a lot in my life and in turn my resolve is to use music to help change the lives of others who struggle with so many different kinds of addictions and pain. Every time I step onto the stage I bring a passion and excitement that few have. I have performed in many bands on many stages. I have also done solo talent shows and even spent time as a karaoke DJ.
Chris Erickson: Drums
Bio's can be a questionable thing, what is real and what is something that someone made up to look cool.
For me it's been 22 years of staying true to my heart. Passion has fed the desire of determination to develop
my skill as a drummer. I have had the privilege of working with some very talented musicians in the past who have encouraged me to push myself to keep going and never quit.
So here it is now 2009 and still going strong. Passion is the key to dreaming, believing is key to succeeding.
Brandon Shewbert: Lead Guitars
I think my infatuation with rock and roll began in my early teenage years. Like many young kids I was really into whatever was heavy and on the local rock radio station regularly. While I still appreciate a radio friendly hook I've grown up a little since then and learned to appreciate a wider variety of music from Hardcore to classical. I think it is this dichotomy that really defines me as a guitar player and musician. While this skill set may not be desired in many bands, Overkast is diverse enough in it's musicality to engage these attributes. I'm forunate to be in a band with talented guys that really know music and appreciate many different genre's.
It doesn't matter where you are from :) We got you covered!
