overpass-slovenly

Bio:

slovenly was a 5 piece from the south bay in L.A. and lived from 1982-1992. w/ rob holzman: drums, tim plowman: keyboard & guitar, steve anderson: vocals, scott ziegler: guitar & bass, and me on: guitar & bass. it had various guests here and there including lynn johnston: horns, sam goldman: violin, chris simmersbach, etc... several records were released through new alliance records (the minutemen’s label at the time), and sst records. they are almost imposible to find but i’m hoping to put them out again sometime soon. only our last 3 records were released on cd. --------------------------- overpass was 3/5’s of slovenly. scott, rob, and me. we have 2 records together. the first is from 1992 on new alliance records, and the second "manhattan (beach)" from 1994 is on smells like records (steve shelley’s label). later the band would continue with steve linn on bass. it was a fun band, i miss it. tom watson..
