Hailing from Sudbury, Suffolk, this young outfit have been making a huge noise in East Anglia of late with their attitude-laden grooves.
Overrider, as it stands today, was formed in the summer of 2005 when guitarist and vocalist Jack Newnham, bassist Gav Senior, drummer Tom Delaney and guitarist Ted Driscoll started jamming together at various ‘Amplifier Project’ sessions.
Finding that they shared numerous musical influences, ranging from legends like Hendrix and the mighty Sabbath, to cult scene-leaders Clutch, Down and Sixty Watt Shaman, Overrider were quick to take on their stoner rock influenced sound and the four haven’t looked back since.
Having entered the studio for the first time in November 2005,then again in 2007 the band have received nothing but positive feedback for their resulting demos, from small, independent record labels to dedicated, internet fanzines.
