  • Bio

OverTime didn't come from any hood. He didn't rep any sets, and he's never conformed to anybody to blend in. Hailing from Missoula, MT, rapping was the last thing he ever thought he'd dedicate his life to. A three sport athlete, and an exceptional student, O.T. grew up in a middle class family as the youngest of 5. Forced at a young age to compete, he developed the skills to stand out amongst his peers in everything he participated in. At 16, O.T. began exploring the option of becoming a college baseball player with hopes of entering the major league draft one day as a pitcher. Soon that would all change. After a career ending injury, and an addiction to speed, he began finding himself on the wrong side of the law. On March 22nd, 2006, just released from lockup, O.T. made the decision to dedicate his life to the very thing that helped him pass time while incarcerated, rap music. In 2007, now linked up with another rising star who goes by "Young Jay", O.T. finished recording his first professional project at Wapikiya Records with Jeff "Frodie" Harmon. O.T. and Young Jay chose the title "Just Released" and dropped it in May 2007 (Now Available On CD Baby). O.T. and Young Jay promoted the project in the only way they knew how, out of the trunk of their car. With no distribution and literally no marketing budget, Just Released moved over 1,000 units catching the attention of promoters and fans alike around the NorthWest. Together, O.T. and Young Jay performed Just Released all over Montana as well as Idaho, and Washington. Jay handled the streets, and O.T. handled the business. As we all know, good things must come to an end. Remaining close friends, O.T. and Young Jay parted ways in 2008. Young Jay to live in Spokane, WA, and O.T. to remain in Missoula, MT. In 2008, too broke to pay for studio time, O.T. saved enough money to buy his first simple Pro Tools set up. With knowledge handed to him by Cordell of Nine Side, O.T. began to perfect the art of mixing music. In 2009, O.T. released his first solo project called Digital Crack Vol. 1 (Now Available On iTunes). Digital Crack then became the theme for his series of mixtapes. In 2010, O.T. released Digital Crack Vol. 2 for free through his Reverbnation page, Reverbnation.com/OverTimeMusic. Mixtapes are good for the streets, but albums are good for everything. O.T. developed a relationship and formed a partnership with a genius producer who goes by the name of Blaq Santa and the two of them began work on O.T.'s debut album In And Out Of The Game (Now Available EVERYWHERE). Throughout the course of working on this project, O.T. heard of another artist who had moved to Missoula from California by the name of Dice. After meeting, O.T. knew it would be a good move to partner with him. Now buzzing in the NorthWest from previous projects, concerts, and CD sales, OverTime and Dice caught the attention of Executive Producer Roger Harmon of Wapikiya Records. O.T. was able to negotiate a single album distribution deal through Wapikiya Records for the album In And Out Of The Game. Now with a Nationally released project, OverTime has been able to develop relationships with other influential artists locally, nationally, and internationally placing him in a position allowing him to take notice from fans all over the world. OverTime's first radio single "Hold Me Down ft. Dice" has caught a lot of traction on World Star, Youtube, Pandora Radio, Jango.com and FM Stations all over the country. Today, OverTime has a passion for helping other artists get into the game by offering discounted studio costs, and consulting advice. You'll always be able to find him in Montana, as that will always be home, but this career path has opened the doors for him to explore the world.
