Welcome to OWACM. We are a new breed of record label. Well in fact we don't like to be called a record label if the truth be known. We like to think of ourselves as a music marketing business. You see in this day and age musicians, solo artist and bands alike don't need a record contract as such to get their music "out there". OK having the financial clout of a big label behind you is an advantage, but you have to pay back every penny these labels lend you, and then they split greedily what is left to their advantage.
Do you realise that if you signed to a major label you would be very lucky to see 8% of the wholesale price of any CD you sold?
Times are a changing and here at OWACM we have set up what we feel is a new beginning for artists and bands who want the "security" of being signed, without need to sell their soul to the devil.
If you think we are what you want, contact us. But beware, even though we aren't the big bad corporate label, we still have standards and expect music that is submitted to us for consideration be of a high standard and that the artists themselves are prepared to present themselves in a professional manner.

Electromagnetic Impulses is: Jason Mallett a music producer of all electronica genres, who has been producing music for the past 10 years.
He first appeared on the Internet in Feb 2007, and within 8 months had written and produced over 35 tracks, found a manager, released his first EP, as well as building up a strong fan base. He even got nominated for a music award. Not bad for 12 months work!
His music is heavily influenced by Infected Mushroom and Dave Clarke so many tracks will have elements of both.. also he has been greatly influenced by the likes of: Kosheen, Faithless, Pendulum, Orbital, Astral Projection, Tiesto, Enigma, Dire Straights and Pink Floyd.
Some collaborations with DJ Crimson Death (Canada), Pixieguts (Australia), Corrientes (USA) in 2007.
The Green Dragon : aka GD aka Martin Devaughan has been in the music business all his working life having worked in a variety of roles from music management to record label A&R to radio presenter to club DJ to promoter and publicist. He presents the very popular, GDM produced music podcast, Bite Size Bonus and it was here he was introduced to Electromagnetic Impulses music. One of the features of Bite Size Bonus is GD's occasional mixes which have attracted praise around the world and so it seemed only natural that he should take E.I. and give it the GD treatment.
