Owen Marshall loves to play music, he also loves Greek food. His first instrument was a plastic Gene Autrey Western folk guitar with only two strings. It quickly became clear that try as he might, no one can make a two stringed plastic guitar sound good. Owens parents knowing this fact all too well bought him his first guitar for his 12th birthday.
Owen learned to back and pick tunes at a local jam, and he learned to love Greek food by eating it. He has a love of all types of traditional music, from Scandinavian to Mongolian. When not playing music you may find him dancing at your local contra dance....

happy b-day to ya! thanks for the belated birthday wishes. it was great to see you last weekend. perhaps again soon...and you'll have to save me a dance!!! ooo and there are 3 baby goats here, did i tell ya?
oh yes lets have a visit! the band i'm in "the living daylight" is probably gonna have a show/dance later this month...and we do open-mics every sunday, so it'd be awesome if you could take part in some of those festivities! let me know when you're 'round
Dude, it was awesome to meet and jam with you! I'm super psyched for fiddle camp, and I'll definitely take your guitar class. One of my goals this summer is to actually be able to play guitar. See you then! Or maybe even before. Take care!
Hey, good to see you at NEFFA, however briefly, and glad to hear you're getting steady work (of the musical variety). Hopefully get some tchunes in at some point. You should try to come down over MemDay Weekend for the Cutting Edge of the Campfire Festival at Passim.
owen! are you going to the dance festival in maine this weekend? I think ari and i are going on saturday and we miss you so you should probably come :)
Unfortunately, no. But the Brattleboro dance would be great sometime. I'll be in Ireland a bunch this spring, but let me know if you have any dates in mind.
my dad is in your influences! dude that's amazing. and i saw your convo with lina... i'll fix our profile so you can leave us billions of comments. and we're trying to record. we'll definitely let you know once we get recordings up. hope all is well!
haha we deffinetly have to play spoons. can't wait! summer needs to come faster i'm so sick of cold right now...well, see you this summer portnoi biggalow! -lina
oh that sucks. well we want to record a CD we just don't have the technology to do so, except garageband but the sound quality on that isn't really the best and we are deffinetly putting you in our influences..don't worry...i'll do it right now -lina
