Music
Something in my life
that offers a good peek into my personality is my music collection. I love music and have a voracious appetite for finding new music to listen to, particularly the song that expresses my feelings at the moment. My musical taste has been described (by me!) as schizophrenic, but I suppose eclectic is a better way to say it. In my collection there is everything from 80's Goth -Country - Rap - even some Pop (but not much!). My Daddy told me that the first time I got my heart broken that I would learn to listen to Country music and that was pretty darn close to the truth.
Movies
I think it is really fun to turn out all the lights and watch horror flicks! I especially enjoy reading and watching anything dealing with vampires.

Television
Now that Sopranos, Sex in The City and ER are over my favorite shows are The Tutors on Showtime and TrueBlood on HBO. If flipping channels, I will always stop on any of the CSI's. Mostly if I want to veg on the couch, I put in a movie.
Books
The Bible and study series dealing with the teachings of the Bible.
Some other Authors I like are Ann Rice, Laurel Hamilton, J. D. Robb, Charlene Harris, Kim Harrison, or anything dealing with Horror or Erotica.

I attend church (Parkway Wesleyan) every Sunday and various activities through the week. I would not call myself a religious fanatic, but since looking toward that missing part of my life, I have begun to heal from the past and look forward to the future.

It is really tough to write about yourself.
It's not that I'm not confident or worried about sounding conceited; it's just there is only so much in anyone's life that is interesting enough to write down. Sometimes I can be a little bit too serious and duty oriented, but that is the way I was raised. It is good for me to have people in my life that can help me balance that quality, because I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I just forget to sometimes, but it is really cool to just let loose and be silly once in a while. I enjoy family and children. I love animals. I have what some would consider a zoo! In fact, if you can't stand dog hair or the loud screeching of birds we would be wasting our time chatting. I miss riding on the back of a motorcycle, but can roll my windows down to get that wind-in-my hair feeling.

Who I'd like to meet: I have no problem with pursuing a relationship with someone who does not live in my immediate area, but I have no desire to leave this area or my current job. Starting a relationship that could progress without considering this would be not only unfair to me, but also you.
As with anyone who has lived life, I have had my ups and downs, but I feel I have been successful in that I have a job I love, I am close to my family, own my own home, a car and truck. I am active in Pug Rescue. I do not need someone to take care of me. I am looking for someone to share life with. Being with that special someone is perhaps the one thing I do find missing in my life.
And if years from now I am considered "The Crazy Old Lady at the End of the Block with All The Dogs", life will not have been a complete waste! :)
