Owsley Sunshine are from Lincoln and the surrounding area, and have been going since 2001 (albeit with a few changes in the line up over the years). We have played at many a prestigious place including with the Fence Collective in Fife and at The Cavern in Liverpool.
We ran, hosted and played at two Mella Yella festivals at Tupholme Abbey near Bardney and have played at numerous other festivals including Summer Sundae in Leicester.
Definately a festival band, Owsley Sunshine have been described as a heady, eclectic mix of psychedelic rock with a bit of a funk thrown in for good measure.
I think the day outside is all electric with amps as normal gigs! They said we could go all acoustic no amps inside after 10 coz they can't play music outside after 10. You should definitely invite Gordo! He would be perfect to play at the jammy thing later in the evening :) You can invite anyone you like mate.

Das Wanderlust are an x-piece wrong-pop band. That is to say that there is an indeterminate number of them, and that their attempts at writing pop songs often come out sounding a bit 'wrong' (but in a very 'right' way).
I was sorry to miss hearing you at the Mezz Bar - you always entertain me. Was at the Biv at an EP Launch and couldnt get away. Hope to catch up with you soon.
