The people who support us by spending money and making donations, either goods or cash, so that we can help Oxfam meet its aims. Also the people who give their time voluntarily and make Oxfam what it is.
About me: We are two small in shops Worcester, the first being a bookshop placed a stones throw away from the cathedral. The second a small second hand clothes and other items placed on mealcheapen street in the heart of the city centre. However small we may appear from the outside we take great pride in helping raise awareness and money for Oxfam appeals, such as "Make Poverty History", the more recent East Africa Crisis and the current Middle East Crisis. As part of Oxfam GB are main goals are to save lives by responding swiftly to provide aid, support and protection during emergencies, to
develop programmes and solutions that empower people to work their way out of poverty and to campaign to achieve lasting change. One way in which we do this is by selling items to the local community in Worcester, and the second is by selling items on the internet, and that is part and parcel of why we are here.
