RACISTS HAVE NO MUSIC - LMHR TV AD
What would our record shops look like if the racists got their way? The fascist British National Party wants to see an "all white Britain" and wants to eliminate black and Asian people from this country. Here's a glimpse of the sort of life the Nazis are trying to force on us. Use your vote to stop the BNP on 4 June -- and get involved with the Love Music Hate Racism campaign.

What happens when you take Oxford’s brightest new rapper’s most incendiary song and have it reworked by one of the underground’s most explosive rock bands?
“Look Out There’s A Black Man Coming (Rock Mix)” is the answer.
A download only single, the rap/rock remix by Oxford’s Mr ShaoDow & Smilex gives the listener “a satirical look at racism, from the eyes of a young black man.”
50% of profits will be donated to LMHR.
“We first came across Oxford-based rapper ShaoDow when we asked him to perform at the huge and successful protest against the BNP’s Nick Griffin and holocaust denier David Irving speaking at Oxford Union just over a year ago. It’s great he’s putting out a new version of his wickedly funny anti-stereotyping track “Look Out There’s a Black Man Coming” in aid of LMHR, and we urge everyone to check out the track and help raise funds for the cause into the bargain” Love Music Hate Racism
Our music is living testimony to the fact that cultures can and do mix. It unites us and gives us strength, and offers a vibrant celebration of our multicultural and multiracial society. Racism seeks only to divide and weaken us. Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) was set up in 2002 in response to rising levels of racism and electoral successes for the Nazi British National Party (BNP).
We use the energy of our music scene to celebrate diversity and involve people in anti-racist and anti-fascist activity – as well as to urge people to vote against fascist candidates in elections. LMHR has helped to mobilise against further BNP election victories, in the tradition of the Rock Against Racism (RAR) movement of the late 1970s.
The Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent played host to over 20,000 people for the hugely successful Love Music Hate Racism festival. Musicians including Peter Doherty and Kelly Rowland spoke out against racism -- and urged people to vote against the fascist British National Party (BNP) at the European elections.
Britain’s Nazi Party - the BNP grabbed 2 seats in the European Parliament in the North West and in Yorkshire this year. This was in spite of their total number of votes in both regions not increasing from the 2004 result. In a perfect situation for the fascists - recession and mass disgust at corruption among MPs - a fantastic anti-fascist campaign stopped them increasing their support. But the disastrous collapse of mainstream parties' votes has enabled the Nazis to win by default.
The election of two members of the fascist British National Party to the European Parliament marks a turning point in British politics. Their election threatens to normalise the presence of the BNP in politics. The fascists will use their foothold to push their bigotry in the media and whip up race hatred on our streets. Millions of ordinary people do not want to see racism used to divide our society. These people are totally opposed to the politics of the BNP and they have to be drawn into the active anti fascist movement in ever larger numbers.
Weyman Bennett from Unite Against Fascism said: “Several members of BNP have convictions for racial hatred this includes the leader of the BNP Nick Griffin. In the past other fascists leaders have use the democratic freedoms in order to destroy everybody rights and freedom of speech. ”
Drew McConnell, of leading LMHR-supporting band Babyshambles, said: “Multicultural Britain should be celebrated. Immigration is not to blame for unemployment or housing problems, and does not negatively affect the economy, but the BNP tell us this is actually the case. We want them to know they’re not fooling us. Everyone knows the BNP are a Nazi organization, and they can’t hide behind their suits forever.”
We need the widest and most active possible LMHR & Unite Against Fascism campaigns in the run-up to the local elections next year in every area of the country.
We still need artists to join us and play gigs in Oxfordshire to help us raise funds and spread the word. We also need volunteers to put up posters and handout leaflets at gigs. Contact us if you can help.
Kimle tanışmak isterim: Anyone who wants to see the end of racism and is opposed to organised racists like the BNP...

The response from a number of students after a Screening of 'Thank You Skinhead Girl' was very refreshing considering their opinions conformed to the stereotype. Regards Shaz x
