Oye Records Auf der Oderberger Straße liegt nur wenige Meter
von der Kastanienallee entfernt der Oye Records Shop.
Der Name dieses Ladens für Vinyljunkies stammt vom Klassiker
..Oye Como Va.., was soviel bedeutet wie ..Komm, hör zu...
Eben diese Gelegenheit bietet sich in der entspannt
sommerlichen Atmosphäre des Souterrains an. Denn was vor
beinahe fünf Jahren mit dem Schwerpunkt auf brasilianischen und
lateinamerikanischen Klängen und Jazz begann, hat inzwischen
eine beeindruckende und dabei wohlsortierte Vielfalt gewonnen.
Die Fans der geraden Bassdrum werden ebenso bedient wie
B-Boyz, Junglists, Funk..n..Soul-Nerds, Disco-Dancer,
NuJazzer, Rastafari und die Jäger streng limitierter White-Labels,
Bootlegs, Mash-Ups, 7-Inches, vermißter Danceclassics und anderer Raritäten.
Sogar eine kleine Essenz des Mainstreams und einige CD-Seltenheiten schafften es in die Sammlung.
Das ist selected Freestyle! Dennoch ist von Beliebigkeit keine Spur.
Das Oye-Team kümmert sich mit Liebe zum Detail um Kunden
und Sortiment.
