Ozarks Pagan League's Blurbs |
About me:
As an organization, Ozarks Pagan League, known as OPaL, is a united Pagan project which strives toward the community acceptance of all paths of religion. We intend to accomplish this through planned events and activities to educate the greater public as to the nature of Pagan religions, religious pluralism and diversity.
We aim to be a portal for all Pagans to network, and a place for all Pagans to work toward a better understanding of each other, thereby gaining a feeling of mutual respect in our diversity. We do not profess to follow any specific religious path, and hold in the highest esteem the right of all Americans to practice their own spirituality.

For Concerned Parents
Your child has suddenly changed her name, started reading some fairly strange things, and doodling pentacles on her notebook. Is there cause for alarm, or is it just a phase she's going through? What if she's serious about Wicca and Paganism -- should you worry? Click HERE for help!
Your Rights as a Pagan Parent People often say that they're afraid to come out of the broom closet -- what if their ex-spouse uses Wicca as a weapon in a divorce proceeding? What if a teacher singles out someone's child because mom and dad are Pagan? How do you find a balance that allows you to practice your faith, and yet still protect your rights as a parent? Click HERE for help!
Raising Pagan Kids in a Non-Pagan World
For many Pagan and Wiccan parents, it's hard to figure out how to include children in celebrations and rituals. You may be suprised to learn that it's not as hard as you think -- with a little planning and some research, you can include the kids in most of your ceremonies! Click HERE for more information!
Pagan Parenting
An excellent site featuring information on celebrating the Sabbats with your family, how to find Pagan-friendly daycare, your legal rights as a Pagan or Wiccan parent, and some fun stuff! Click HERE for a great pagan parenting site!
Circle Round
In addition to being an excellent book for Pagan parents, Circle Round is also a website for parents raising kids in goddess-based faiths. Full of crafts, books, and resources for Pagans and Wiccans. Click HERE for their website!
