   About John Ozoroff
An eclectic mix of music genres met by me on my journey down the rock 'n' roll highway finds it expression in the crazy assortment of song styles that form the above songs from the album OZOROFF...hmmm. Could probably write something better - oh well :-)

TODAY IS THE TOMORROW YOU WORRIED ABOUT YESTERDAY - AND ALL IS WELL - KEEP SMILING AND BE HAPPY! :-)

You can download songs from the album OZOROFF on iTunes right now. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD SONGS Go on - you know you want to! :-) Only .79p per track (£4.74 the whole album!) and my personal fave track is SHINTO. It's all about the Japanese belief system. Check out the words to the song by clicking on the Lyrics tab above! The album includes the above trax plus others.

JOHN WINSTON (Lennon) (SEE MY BLOG) and TANYA lyrics are now up and I'll get round to posting lyrics to THE CYCLE SONG asap. All the the songs on the album were mastered by Nick Webb (of Beatles Albums fame) in Abbey Road studios hence great quality of sound if not my music!!!

"Life is a dream, there is no such thing as death and we are the imagination of ourselves".

I have now uploaded A LIFE OF SLEEP a Lennonesque poem 'given' to me in which original Quarry Man (John Lennon's first band was called The Quarry Men) John Duff Lowe adds some beautiful keyboards and his voice. I hope you like it :-)

2009 is going to be the year when Kevin Hackett of ROXY MAGIC and I, collaborate in writing a new album of original material. It is a very exciting project and early signs are it's going to be very interesting indeed! Watch this space for further info'! :-)

'HISTORY' is now posted as promised and is available as a download on the iTunes album 'OZOROFF'

I have had the following poem for a while now but this is the first time it's been aired in public - hope you like it!

REMEMBER STRAWBERRY FIELDS

Notoriety, Borne out of sobriety, Negotiated negligence, Innocous innocence, Memories innumerable remain immutable, Why they lied about patricide And suicide and crippled inside, Ideas ludicrous, outrageous, lugubrious Swishing and swirling, dervilishly whirling A cataclysm of nihilism, Anachronistic cynicism Inviting of witicism, criticism And is or isn’t-ism, Surrenders to the void shining, Resisting, avoiding dying, Halycon days, crazy ways is Insuperable, felicitous phrases Roll off the tongue onto pages, The glass onion and the eggman Mister kite and the hendersons, Punctuated, accentuated, correlated, Interpretated, mash potated, All that was significant All that was so very real, Living in strawberry fields, Strawberry Fields forever. © john ozoroff 2008

I have a couple of brand new songs on my R&R World website. They are 'Danger In Stilettos' and 'Teenage Downtrodden'. Why not check them out and let me know what you think back here? The link is as follows John_Ozoroff's R&R World Music Profile

Hi John

Just heard your interview on BBC Radio Gloucester about Roxy Magic. Fab.

Roxy Magic's gig at the Redgrave Theatre was also blantantly plugged on the Pat Sharp show too this afternoon on GWR. I always knew our clash of heads would pay off one day!

All the best

Hi John

Good to chat with you today. Had a listen to your songs. John Winston reminds me of George Harrison/Traveling Wilburys-esque. The Cycle Song - how funny but Beatle-esque with I am Walrus video/picture. And the other two songs Shinto and Tanya have very good hooks. Your singing voice on those reminds me of another singer, not sure who yet, Billy Joel comes to mind.

Anyway have a great weekend. Hope the floods don't take hold.

See next Thursday 11th September at The Redgrave Theatre gig, Bristol. (Anyone reading this buy your tickets on the door. Just turn up a great night for all!)

All the best
Kathryn
